Thousands of 2015 Ford Mustangs are lined up, ready to be shipped out to Ford dealerships all across the globe. Come on now? Can't Ford just spare one for me? Lol, yeah right!!! In my dreams, well hopefully one day I will be able to own another Ford Mustang. I have to say, I'm quite fascinated with the new looks and power coming from the 2015 Mustang, if I can have one now, maybe I'll pick up a used one later. One thing about me, if I send them to do something, usually do it! Especially when it comes to buying muscle cars. When the 03-04 Cobra Mustangs first came out, I was just so infatuated with these amazing cars, I knew I had to have one. At the time I couldn't afford a Terminator, but 4 years after they first came out, I was able to buy one off eBay with only 1000 miles. Man I loved that car, I really hated to see it go, but I needed the money, so I didn't have a choice.
This past Saturday final production 2015 Mustang 50 Year Limited Edition sold for an amazing $170,000 at Barrett-Jackson Auction. All the proceeds went to benefit the Edith and Benson Ford Heart & Vascular Institute at Henry Ford Hospital. The lucky Mustang fan who made the final bid was Jack Fairchild, who has decided to convert the 2015 Mustang into the official pace car at the Ford EcoBoost 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup race.
The word swirling around the web is, that the next SVT GT350 Mustang could be sporting carbon fiber wheels. It's possible Ford could be doing this to say weight and help perform better on the track. Hint came after carbon fiber wheels showed up on Ford's own parts website. This would be great in all, however it's not very cost-effective for the SVT GT350 Mustang. But what if they just have it as an option? Well whatever they decide, I'm all for it, adding carbon fiber wheels to the options list would truly be groundbreaking for the Ford Mustang.
JLT Performance is one of the first aftermarket companies to bring us Mustang fans a new cold air intake for the 2015 Ford Mustang. The company has yet to release horsepower numbers for this cold air intake, but they claim you will feel the difference in power behind the wheel. If you're really looking to buy this cold air intake, I would really wait until others by it and see how the fitment is. Because not all aftermarket parts fit as good as stock. And also wait to see what performance numbers Mustang owner throw up on the dyno. However it's still very exciting to see that aftermarket companies are starting to provide us with performance parts for the 2015 Ford Mustang.
Finally we get to see what power numbers the 2015 Mustang EcoBoost puts up after being on a dyno. American Muscle is the aftermarket company who has decided to take on this project, these results are before the Bama Performance team custom tune, which is set to be next!!! Already American Muscle is making the shout out that the factory tune will limit power and hurt your overall performance at higher RPM's. So expect some big performance gains with this new custom tune. However I bet your mileage will go down, if you plan on doing this custom Bama tuned for your 2015 EcoBoost Mustang.
If you think the 2015 Ford Mustang is all show, take a second glance at these stats just posted from the NMRA All Ford World Finals event held at Beech Bend Raceway Park in Bowling Green, Kentucky. The new Mustang ran an incredible 12.86 @ 107 MPH in the 1/4 mile! That's completely bone stock, just imagine what Mustang owners will be able to do after they slap on a supercharger or other performance modifications. It's so exciting, this is definitely one of the best Mustangs ever produced in Ford's history. I would really like to see what the 2015 Ford Mustang can do with drag radials, maybe mid 12s or even low 12s.
You're looking at one of the first dealerships to get a brand-new 2015 Ford Mustang. Huntington Ford of Rochester Michigan received this Magnetic 2015 Mustang GT Premium with Performance Pack only a few days ago. The muscle cars absolutely beautiful, if I do a choice between all the different colors I think Magnetic would be one of my top colors to pick. I hope you enjoy these cool photos of the 2015 Ford Mustang, I can't wait to see one out on the road.
This competition orange 2015 Mustang will be one of the first custom S550 to receive a big power upgrade from Vortech and then head to SEMA. Right now the custom car is just a rendering, however within a few months, this creation will become real. The owner, member rrg9946 (Rey) off of the forum Mustang6G got the idea of doing a souped-up 2015 Mustang, right after Ford revealed the car December 5th 2013. Rey called a variety of different companies, trying to get into some type of beta program, Vortech was one of the first aftermarket companies to take on the challenge. Once Neil Tjin stepped in, SEMA became a priority.
Just a little background on Rey, he's always had a liking into sports cars, but he's been out of the racing scene for quite some time now. It wasn't until he saw the new 2015 Ford Mustang hit the scene, he knew he had to get back into the saddle again. Rey is retired Army veteran who recently got through a lot of therapy and hospital care, so this new Ford Mustang is basically a godsend to him. I really can't wait to see what is in store for us and Rey, I think this competition orange 2015 Mustang will turn out great! Here's a rundown of the specs:
The car is a competition orange.
401A, Nav, PP, premier accent interior.

-Vortech V3si Supercharger with intercooler and supporting mods

Be very very afraid Hellcat and Z06, be very afraid! You're looking at the new 2015 HPE700 Hennessey supercharged Ford Mustang!!! We all know that the Z06 makes 650 horsepower and the Hellcat makes 707 horsepower, now, John Hennessey has taken on the challenge to boost up the horsepower on the new Mustang to compete with these bad boys. How does 717 horsepower sound for ya? That's how much power the new Hennessey HPE700 Mustang is putting down! It's not a big increase in power from the Hellcat, however, taken consideration how heavy the new Challenger is, the new Hennessey HPE700 Mustang might be able to take the Hellcat out no problem on the track. We'll just have to see how well the Hennessey Mustang handles at the track with this new IRS.
According to both companies, the Hennessey Mustang will run 11.2 seconds at 131mph in the quarter-mile, while Mopar says the Hellcat will run 11.2 @125. John Hennessey claimed the 5mph increase will give the Hennessey Mustang that edge and needs against the Hellcat. But what's the truth? Well the only way to solve this problem, as the test both of the muscle cars at the drag strip.
With the amazing horsepower numbers coming from the new HPE700 Hennessey Mustang, you would think that this package would cost upwards of $100k+. Well come to find out, it will only run you $59,500!!! That's incredible price for how much features you get out of the package! And come the find out, only thing that's really boosting the horsepower's so much on the new coyote 5.0L engine is the 2.9 Liter Supercharger System. Sure there are other upgrade such as a HPE Air Induction System and fuel injectors, however those are very minor upgrades compared to the supercharger. It really gives the new Hennessey Mustang that big boost in 300 horsepower!!!
10 years ago, if someone were to ask me that aftermarket companies could get 300 boost in horsepower from a supercharger on the new Mustang engine, I would think they were nuts!!! And Hennessey is achieving those numbers with only 7.25psi of boost. This really is an incredible modern muscle car machine! But to be honest with you, just wish the new 2015 HPE700 Hennessey Mustang had some type of scoop on the hood to make it a little more aggressive looking. I guess John Hennessey was going for more of a sleeker look with the ground effects. Here's a list of specs on the new 2015 HPE700 Hennessey Mustang:
Eat your heart out Mopar and GM fans, here are some incredible photos of the 2015 ROUSH RS Mustang that's about to hit the market in the next few months. If you've been paying attention to Mustang news lately, you know that there is a Saleen and Hennessey custom Mustang. But what sets the ROUSH RS Mustang from those is, Jack Roush has decided to offer 3 different performance packages for the 2015 Ford Mustang, this includes the 310-hp turbocharged four-cylinder model (RS Stage 1) and the 435-hp GT (RS Stage 2).
The RS Stage 1 Mustang receives a performance exhaust system with quad pipes. While the stage 2 cars get beautiful five-spoke 20-inch “Quicksilver” wheels and Cooper RS3 performance tires. Jack Roush has yet to release details for the RS Stage 3 Roush Mustang, but knowing that aftermarket company, they'll probably slap one of their high-performance superchargers on the beast. All threes ROUSH RS Mustangs will receive a custom interior and exterior package, which includes new front and rear fascias, high-flow grilles, driving lamps, side sill extensions, a rear spoiler, embroidered floor mats and an array of “Roush” or “RS” branding on the fenders, grille, tailgate (now blacked out), windshield, dashboard and engine bay, the latter two in the form of plaques.
While I usually want a custom Mustang to feature a high performance engine package, the new 2015 ROUSH RS Mustang is still pretty sinister to say the least, you just check out some of these photos, the custom muscle car looks incredible. I think Jack Roush and his company have done an incredible job customizing the new 2015 Ford Mustang. Props to them!
